The UGC NET 2023 Registration Application Form was made available on December 29, 2022. The UGC NET 2nd Phase application form 2023 must be submitted by April 17, 2023. The University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) will be given by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a nationwide exam for admission that is given twice a year. Jagadesh Kumar tweeted the dates for UGC NET registration and the exam. UGC NET 2023 Registration

Indian citizens who wish to work as assistant professors or as junior research fellows and assistant professors in Indian institutions and colleges must take the UGC-NET exam. The UGC NET 2023 2nd phase Registration period started at 5 p.m. on 29th December and will end on April 17, 2023. The test will be given between February 21 and March 10, 2023. The UGC NET exam will be administered via computer-based testing. There will be two shifts for the examination, the first from 9 am to 12 pm and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. There will be two papers in the test, and multiple choice, objective-type questions will be used in each paper. Candidates who have earned a master’s degree or an equivalent degree from universities or institutions recognized by the UGC and have attained at least 55% of the total possible points (without rounding off) are eligible to apply for the exam.

  • Marks: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have at least 55% in qualifying marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC category candidates).
  • Candidates who will be in their final year in 2023 will also be eligible to apply for the exam.
