UConn Huskies Performance So Far

UConn played remarkably well against early opponents, with impressive victories over 3 Texas, 10 NC State, and 9 Iowa in the first weeks of the season despite already being missing two players. Juhász suffered a thumb injury in the Texas game and missed many weeks of play.

After being forced to sit out the previous season due to injuries, Aubrey Griffin started. With Edwards apparently unstoppable in the paint and Mühl leading the league in assists per game, Fudd started the season as the top scorer.

Even with Juhász’s comeback, the Huskies only had seven players who were healthy at the end of December after Fudd’s injury in the loss to No. 7 Notre Dame. UConn’s game versus DePaul on January 8 had to be postponed since there were only six available players for the Huskies.
