Educational Qualifications
- Assistant Teacher, Level-I:
- Passed the UMAV/Equivalent Examination in English with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Diploma in Elementary Education obtained (D.El.Ed.).
- REET Qualification: Passed the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (Level-I) with minimum marks in 2021/ 2022.
- Assistant Teacher, Level-II (English/Mathematics):
- Graduation in English with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics/English (for the relevant post) as an optional subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Elementary Education Diploma (D.el.ed.)
- REET Eligibility: Passed Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (Level – II) 2022 with minimum marks in a relevant subject.

Rajasthan Teacher Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
- All applicants will go through a shortlisting procedure, and those who make the cut must show up for document verification.
- The shortlisted applicants for the category-specific openings of the relevant post (post-wise) will be prepared for document verification based on the entirely provisional merit list prepared in the notification.
- The qualified candidates will be ultimately chosen during the document verification in accordance with the level-wise advertised positions, and the selection list will be produced based on their merit selection category.
- Only those candidates who receive the highest ranking during the counseling process by the District Education Officer (Headquarters) Secondary Education of the relevant district will be appointed to Mahatma Gandhi Government Schools (English Medium) or Government English Medium Schools in rural areas.
Rajasthan Teacher 2023 Pay Scale Details
- Candidates hired on a contract basis will get a fixed honorarium of Rs. 16,900 per month; aside from this, no further benefits, such as house rent assistance, dearness assistance, urban compensation assistance, special pay, etc., will be paid.
- The above Assistant Teacher Level-I and Assistant Teacher, Level II (English / Maths) positions will be filled in accordance with the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022, upon completing the required nine years of service. Assistant Teacher (Level II/ First) Grade – Designation A fixed honorarium of Rs. 29,600 will be paid each month.
