The applicants must actually reside in Kerala.
For admission to the Kerala MBBS program, at least one of the applicant’s parents must have lived in Kerala for ten years, and the applicant must have attended school there for at least five of those years.

Kerala MBBS Qualification Code 2023

CODE 01

A candidate who is taking the +2 final exam and is awaiting the results may apply for admission as long as they achieve the required grade.

CODE 02

After 12 years of education, candidates must pass the Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, both of which are comparable to the 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination.
After the implementation of the 10+2+3 educational structure, as suggested by the National Committee on Education, the last two years of such study must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, including practical tests in all subjects, Mathematics, or any other elective subject with English.

CODE 03

The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Technology of an Indian College or other recognized examining body, with English as a required subject and Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology (with a practical examination).

CODE 04

after passing the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent test, the Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
A practical test in these subjects as well as English as a required subject must be part of the exam.

CODE 05

If the exam is a University Examination, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology must be included in the first year of the three-year degree program at a recognized university, along with practical exams in these areas. The applicant has successfully completed the previous qualifying examination in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology at a level equivalent to a core course.
