Notification for recruitment of 386 Head Constables (Radio Operator & Mechanic) was released officially by the Border Security Force on 22 April 2023 after which a huge number of eligible and interested had filled out online application form till 21 May 2023. Exam Date for the post of Head Constable (RO/RM) is announced officially by the Border Security Force, it will be held on 29th August 2023 in the Computer Based Test mode. Exam is going to be conducted in three shifts with an exam time duration of 02 hours from 08:30 am to 10:30 am, 12:30 pm to 02:30 pm, and 04:30 pm to 06:30 pm. For the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, the reporting time is 07:00 am, 11:00 am, and 03:00 pm, respectively.

Exam Pattern for the post of HC (RO/RM) is released officially by the Border Security Force, it is going to be held in CBT mode, in which a total number of 100 multiple-choice questions of each 2 marks are going to be asked from four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English & General Knowledge, and each for each incorrect response 0.25 mark will be deducted, to attempt maximum number of questions, each individual will get an exam time duration of 02 hours.
